Elisa Wolcott is a ceramic artist based in Denver, Colorado. Her installations use clay as a material archive, tracing memory, touch, and inherited experience through repeated ceramic forms.
Working from personal journal writings, she inscribes text into clay tiles that are altered through firing and glaze. As the writing becomes obscured and distorted, the work reflects the shifting nature of memory and the ways personal and collective histories continue to shape present space.
